KEEPY® is a registered trademark of Human Interaction, Inc. Human Interaction, Inc. (further referred to as "Human Interaction", "Keepy®", "We" or "Us", "The Company" or "The Manufacturer") designs and manufactures the Keepy® identification tag that helps customers keep their valuable things, pets or people safe and recover if they are lost ("Product"), operates mykeepy.com ("Website") and the Keepy® Mobile Application ("App") and engages with users through its social media accounts ("Social Media Pages") – collectively referred to as "Services".
By accessing and using the Services you agree (on behalf of yourself or the entity that you represent) to accept and comply with Keepy® Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, as well as all applicable laws and regulations.
STANDARD ONE-YEAR MANUFACTURER WARRANTY:
The Manufacturer, Human Interaction, Inc., warrants the Keepy® products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials, under normal residential use and conditions, for a period of one (1) year from the original order or invoice date. If not explicitly stated otherwise, the shipping and handling fees are to be paid for by the Customer. The Manufacturer agrees, at its discretion, during the warranty period to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish a repaired or refurbished product of equal value in exchange without charge (except for a fee for shipping, handling, packing, return postage and insurance which will be incurred by the Customer). Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction and proof of purchase as confirmed by showing the original dated sales receipt.
LOCKING MECHANISM WARRANTY:
The Manufacturer warrants the locking mechanism, which is used to attach the Keepy® tag to the identified object, against manufacturing and material defects, excluding normal wear and tear, for one (1) year from the original order or invoice date.
WARRANTY LIMITATIONS:
This warranty does not include:
(a) Any condition resulting from other than ordinary residential wear or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use in rental or contract trade or commercial use.
(b) Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care.
(c) Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, use of excessive force, accidents or shipping damage.
(d) Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse.
(e) Normal wear and tear.
(f) Damages incurred during transportation.
(g) Damages incurred during assembly or maintenance.
(h) Any used, previously displayed items.
Human Interaction, Inc. makes no express warranty or condition whether written or oral and the Company expressly disclaims all warranties and conditions not stated in this limited warranty. To the extent allowed by the local law of jurisdictions outside the United States, the Company disclaims all implied warranties or conditions, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. For all transactions occurring in the United States, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express warranty set forth above. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this limited warranty may not apply to the Purchaser.
HOW TO FILE A WARRANTY CLAIM
If you believe your Keepy® product has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, please contact us at team@mykeepy.com with the following:
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos showing the defect
- Your order number or proof of purchase
We’ll review your request and provide further instructions. Please do not send the item back before receiving a response.
CLAIM PROCEDURES:
Claims for defective merchandise must be made within one (1) year from the invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 60 calendar days after the merchandise is received. Pictures are required to claim defective merchandise, along with a copy of the original invoice or sales receipt. If the claim is justified, the item(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced or a credit will be issued. It is our policy to replace parts or items whenever possible. This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
